Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
LS
Often the best pet to open a fight. Start with Quicksand so you go first next turn and then throw down the Sandstorm. That way the first damage of yours doesn't get partially absorbed.

You might want to hold Sandstorm back if the enemy is running a weather effect too. Very tanky pet, especially against anything with a lot of small hits.

Humanoids work well in combination with Sandstorm (shield+healing reduces a lot of the damage income). Clobber is best used whenever you are faster to get a free turn in which you don't take damage.

Don't just use Bubble whenever it is off cooldown. I recommend to use it as late as possible. Your opponent often initiates a combo hit (e.g. Wind-Up) without knowing that you run Bubble.

In these situations you gain a big advantage by surprising your opponent with it.

IS
This is a good pet to finish a fight or when the other two pets are down. Because the combo of Wind-Up and Supercharge most of the times is a complete overkill I recommend the H/H breed, as it will grant you one or two more rounds.

It is especially tanky under Sandstorm, but watch out for the 10% accuracy reduction when you are going to play the combo. Sometimes it's smarter to wait for the weather to change and build up speed meanwhile.
