Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

If your Helper gets crit and you only have one, restart, you won't be able to get the combo rolling before it dies.

Relies on the Ice Tomb / Blizzard / Ice Lance combo. If you have multiple Helpers at 25, that'll work even better for you, but I only had the one. I'm mostly just posting this to confirm that it works even with only one.

You will need a second and third pet to mop up, so choose accordingly. I had a S/S Flayer Youngling (2/2/2) and Hogs (1/2/1); the latter only needed to soak the explosion from the last dog. YMMV.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

I followed the exact method as shown but I used the following pets as they all have the same abilities:

Winter's Little Helper
Father Winter's Helper
Rotten Little Helper

It was a close battle but it worked.

I'm labeling this as RNG, because I definitely needed a second and third pet beyond the first one, which only lasted 6 rounds out of the 16 I had. Because it didn't last very long, and this family takes strong damage from Undead attacks, just leaving slot 2 & 3 as Any Humanoid can produce mixed, and likely unfortunate, results for anyone using this.

That said, because of the increased damage % with Blizzard, stacking the three Winter Veil pets: Father Winter's Helper, Winter's Little Helper, and Rotten Little Helper will likely work just fine.

The priorities are also a bit strange, and Ice Tomb can be useless at certain points. Your best bet is to use it once for each enemy pet, and then just Blizzard / Ice Lance beyond that. (edited)

I just used Winter, Father and Inland Croaker. They all have the same attacks and it worked fine.

Inland Croaker invalidates this as a humanoid strat, and won't count toward the achievement.

3 Helpers and it's super RNG because of the bone barrage, curse & infected claw. Ended with a little over 100HP first try, but I thought I was dead. Got a lucky Ice Tomb stun in the last ones undead round.

so just some criticism. It tooks me a few tries. He would crit me and i would FF and try again.

Although I would say a huge oversight in this guide is using Ice Tomb on CD. Should be noted that its a HUGE waste to use on an dog thats already low. You can do more with Ice Lance IMO when they are about <400 HP. I noticed it could either force a swap due to the stun and an easy kill in the back line or cause you to take an extra hit when you accomplished little in the two turns of damage taken.

I would say
Prio 1: Cast Tomb against full health, Prio 2: Keep Call Blizzard Up (but not on CD) Prio 3: Ice Lance as Filler. Restart if you get crit'd or anything weird. 2 Helpers and Hogs (121) worked great
