I believe cats are severely underrepresented in this competition...

tdBattlePetScript since the other trainer also uses an Iron Starlette

if [enemy(#1).active]
standby [enemy.round=1]
change(#2) [self(#1).active & !self(#2).played]
ability(Extra Plating) [enemy.round=3]
ability(Make it Rain)
ability(Inflation)
endif

I didn't have any of the suggestions. What worked for me was I used an artic fox kit, started with dazzling dance, then was killed right after using howl. This gave me enough turns to bring in my clockwork rocket bot. His rocket launch hit for over 1400. He just needed a tap after that and he was gone in two attacks.

Bubitz wrote on 2016-10-29 07:26:13

If you take iron star (1/2/2) and any pet you want to lvl, even 2 lvl 1s (Gives about 2k xp shared with Safari hat
1. Wind up
2. Toxic
3. Wind up
4. explode
Don't even have to swap for it to work.

Anonymous wrote on 2016-10-29 07:34:04

Tried with a P/P starlette, explode wasn't strong enough. Maybe a H/H or H/P needed.

Theia wrote on 2016-10-29 14:07:28

If you use a P/P starlette do the following and it will work:
1. Wind-up
2. Toxic x 2
3. Wind-up
4. Explode

Swyftlyght wrote on 2016-10-29 14:10:25

It might work with a H/H breed; H/P doesn't do enough explode damage.just saw that reponse -- it worked with the extra toxic smoke, but I got a crit on the windup hit.

Gorta wrote on 2016-10-29 21:15:36

Doesn't work with H/H Starlette. Had to use 2x Toxic, regardless of breed.

With the 2x Toxic Smoke it works incredibly nice. Thank you for suggesting this variation!

At least in patch 7.0.3, this fight can provide endless exp to your levelling pet, as long as you long out after having done the first pet battle fight of Beast of Burden. When you log back in, both fights are available again and you can do it as many times as you want. Just only do one of them, log out, rinse and repeat. Bring bandages.

Ryuuken wrote on 2016-10-23 21:24:14

It doesn't give that great of experience, though.

Buh wrote on 2016-11-04 03:54:14

Not great XP, but no damages to the lvling pet, so you can use it to take level 1 pets to lvl 11 (with hat) over and over

Sneaks wrote on 2016-11-01 18:24:14

I'm able to bring two leveling pets to this fight, as long as the second one is either mechanical (revives after death), magic (won't lose more than 35% health), or flying (strong against beast damage). If the first pet has an ability like Burrow, Lift Off, or Dive, or a Dodge / Evanescence type move, you can bring any leveling pet as long as it has at least about 200 health (except for critter; you'll need a higher one because of the increased damage taken).

Option one (no avoidance move on first leveling pet): Pass, or use an ability of you want; this pet can be as low as level 1, since the musken is charging, and won't cause any damage. (Don't make the mistake of using an ability like Glowing Toxin that does a set percentage of the opponent's health. This will guarantee Wish triggers too soon, and you won't be able to finish the fight as is.) Switch to the second level pet to absorb the Charge; as long as you use the right breed, they'll survive the damage. Afterward, switch to Bling, and continue the fight as normal.

Option two (with avoidance move on first pet): Cast your move on the first round, let the Musken charge. It'll miss your pet. Switch to second leveling pet, it'll get hit by Trample. If your pet has over 200 health, it should survive. Afterward, bring in Bling, and follow the normal pattern.
