Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

This worked for me in 9.1: 1. Any lvl 25 pet(I used an Ashmaw Cub.), pass;2. Boneshard, blistering cold then chop;3. swap to Ikky, blackclaw then ikky dies; 4 Boneshard, blistering cold then dies(or is forced out); 5. finish with lvl 25 pet. (edited)

Doesn't work at 9.0.5, fail 5/5 try

Common Pets, Easy Strat

Ikky + Lil' Bling + Any(Life below 1,400)

1. Ikky - Black Claw
2. Bucky swaps in Lil' Bling (as long as 3rd pet has less than 1,400 life)
3. Lil' Bling - Inflation

Bucky dies on third round of Inflation

This is the best, and super fast.

Satyne wrote on 2017-10-25 06:42:23

wow superfast, did you suggest this as an alternative strat? This should be added :)

Rzzr wrote on 2017-10-25 15:41:37

Awesome strat, should replace recommended one

fantastic. the suggested strat didn't work for me (not even close) but this one was easy and extremely fast. much better strat.

Should be the first strat!

wrote on 2021-01-14 15:34:18

This doesn't work in 9.0.2. Lil' Bling dies after being resurrected before the 3rd round of Inflation can occur.

However, if you use Extra Plating first, Lil' Bling will survive and the 3rd pet will finish Bucky off. (edited)

Ikky x/1/1 + Ji-Kun Hatchling x/2/1

Ikky- Black Claw
Ji-Kun Hatchling- Acid Goo -> Flock

Dead!

The easiest and fastest kill for me so far!
4 Rounds :)

wrote on 2018-07-28 10:04:25

You do need to make sure your 3rd pet has less HPs than your Ji-Kun Hatchling or the 3rd pet will get swamped in instead.

Evil wrote on 2018-07-28 17:55:49

Ahh yeah, good point! Thanks.

Garrett wrote on 2017-09-22 20:16:03

I'm not finding this strategy to be working.

Edit: It took multiple tries. There's a margin for error with this strat.

Nemo2342 wrote on 2017-09-24 18:31:31

Adding Bite before Howl makes things a lot safer, and doesn't mess up the turn order since Chrominius still dies on the same turn either way.

NathKnave

wrote on 2017-12-24 17:30:13

The RNG on this fight is whether or not Ikky goes below 50% before getting the second round of Flock (losing the speed boost). If you can't get that second round, you have to hit twice with your last pet. However most of those will be killed before getting a second hit. I would suggest a Humanoid pet for this since it will take less damage from Stampede, but be sure it uses a non-Humanoid attack to get full damage.

Zalaan wrote on 2017-09-08 02:41:42

Finally got it to work with Darkmoon Tonk (1,1,2), Iron Starlette (1,1,1), and Zandalari Anklerender (2,2,2).
Shock and Awe - get booted for Starlette
Wind Up, Supercharge, Wind Up
Wind Up, Wind Up (I think the Starlette died about here or got booted)
Black Claw, Hunting Party - then dies
Shock and Awe, Ion Cannon
anyway it was hard

Leosta wrote on 2017-09-18 06:32:43

This was a pretty good strat. My Starlette died early before the second wind up but Anklerender saved the day with hunting party. Thanks!

Atreb wrote on 2017-09-24 18:04:50

Worked better than suggested strat

loupe wrote on 2017-10-16 06:15:15

Thank you! It worked perfectly!

Kayllisti wrote on 2017-09-13 01:20:08

Draconic Destruction

This combo worked for me:

Albino Chimaeraling (Shadowflame, Call Darkness, Deep Breath)

Ageless Bronze Drake (Devastate, Breath, Time Stop)

Emerald Proto-Whelp (Breath, Emerald Presence, Proto-Strike)

Use Devastate and Proto-Strike to avoid the swap. Use Emerald Presence to avoid Bucky's stampede. Good luck!

Barh wrote on 2017-10-15 23:20:51

I tried this with no success what so ever. any pointers?

Caustick wrote on 2017-09-06 23:31:44

My aquatic team:
Toothy (1, 1, 2)
Muckbreath (1, 1, 2)
Chuck (1, 1, 2)

I don't know how effective this is in reality, I only tried it once and it worked that one time but I might have just gotten lucky. Toothy wasn't fast enough, so I used Surge first, then after he got swapped out, I just made sure to keep Rip on Bucky, Blood in the Water off cooldown, and Surge if Rip didn't need to be refreshed. That way, swapping out just gave me my cooldowns back because the three are basically the same pet. Killed it with just Toothy alive with about 600 health left.

This didn't work for me. :(

Sawfty wrote on 2017-09-23 09:25:01

I used a variant on the posted strategy, swapping Menagerie Custodian (1,1,2) and instead of Howl/Surge, I used Shock & Awe/Ion Cannon. I also use Darkmoon Tonk (1,1,2) as my 1st pet in case of emergency. So far I've been very successful with this strategy, I hope it helps!

I got this to work but I think you might need to have something different in the second position besides Unborn Val'kry. Good luck!
