Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Broot is able to solo this fight most the time. Sometimes he'll die on the last pet, but at that point the enemy pet will be nearly dead anyway, and one of your other pets can come in and finish the fight.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

I can't decide if I'm getting night horrors from the spiders or Dilberts friendly expression.

Noticing this comment, I went to check it out. I logged the battle.

There were no crits on either side, but as others have said, Broot didn't even make it through the first pet by himself.

I actually think this strat is aimed at the wrong battle, since the final note is "Broot may die before killing off Jennings". Jennings is one of Dilbert McClint's pets from the World Quest Night Horrors (the spiders) also in Drustvar. I'll mention it to the Content Curators.

Broot dies on first pet. Tried several times, gets crit for 700 and can't get healed enough to not die on next hit.

Strategy does not work at all. Broot is unable to kill the first pet. :)

Morti wrote on 2019-06-29 22:08:10

Broot didn't make it thru first pet, but using an idea from one of the other strats, Tiny Twister and Zephyrian Prince managed to clean it up.

yeahno wrote on 2019-02-15 04:36:49

broot cant handle even the 1st pet, tried it 4 times now ,,, to add ... Broot + Blossoming Ancient doing the same, and still no dice

Drahken wrote on 2019-02-17 00:30:31

Yeah, Broot doesn't come anywhere close by himself. He doesn't even finish the first. I was able to beat it using this strat until Broot died, then using a Terrible Turnip using Sunlight, Inspiring Song, and Weakening Blow, then a Molten Corgi with Bark, Cauterize, and Puppies of the Flame. And even then it was pure RNG. Squeaked through with 13 hp on the corgi.
